Last Friday I had some of my major projects due to finish my BA in Graphic Design. I was ecstatic, as well as exhausted (and still am). My sister wanted to celebrate with me so she took me to Parksville for the day. We wanted to relax, hangout and chill but we also had some ulterior motives; I needed a dress for graduation! We wanted to head to our favourite shop Wilde and Sparrow and ended up finding a new amazing shop called Lockhart Collection! We also popped into a few other shops in Parksville and found an amazing florist with new spring blossoms.
We also went for lunch at Cuckoos – an AMAZING Italian restaurant in the back of Coombs Country Market. It’s a beautiful old house with large windows, an open kitchen, bustling atmosphere and just hands down great food. We got antipasto and focaccia to share. Then we shared a pizza that was made in the brick oven only feet away from us. The food was so fresh and amazing. We had great conversation and banter surrounded by other happy people.
This was such a great day, and we can definitley recommend Parksville as a nice little escape for an afternoon or day.
