Explore | BBQ Season is Here!

So I don’t know about you guys but as soon as the weather gets warmer, my family ditches inside-cooking and moves the kitchen outside. If it’s not raining, we’re cooking outside.

It’s so nice to be able to sit and relax outside, not cooped up in the house while glued to the tv or computer. I mean, obviously I’d never abandon my love my laptop, but fresh air is so good for the soul.

Our usual go to is hotdogs on roasting sticks, however, my dad broke out the Karahi pan for some deliciously fried-onion-topped hamburgers.

We also picked up some sweet corn for grilling.

Rolo is always super keen on us cooking outside – he’s closer to all the food!

All of us like to style our burgers differently – I like mine completely plain. That’s probably why Rolo never comes to me for food.

Such a mooch:

By the way, this corn was SO GOOD. I usually boil my corn, but eating it grilled is so tasty.

Rolo trying to guilt us into letting him eat the last burger^

The only thing more perfect than cooking outside, is being surrounded by beautiful west coast scenery.

The best way to end the night? Enjoying a classic west coast sunset:
